The Lord of the Rings: Gollum runs terribly, and at no point did we ever consider turning on ray tracing, even on an RTX 3080. This game isn't so much a case of "who asked for this," because a Styx-style Gollum game does sound good on paper. At all times, Gollum feels like a game that is held together by duct tape and kicked out the door in a hurry when it really should have been left at the concept stage. It is uninspired, buggy, repetitive, frustrating, and, worst of all, boring.
